One of the major drawbacks of plaster is its high vulnerability to water and moisture. The plaster layer tends to swell when exposed to water and moisture, causing it to peel off and separate from the wall. This weakness often leads to the exclusion of plaster as a construction material in areas exposed to water and moisture. The unique plaster water repellent product easily resolves this issue by making plaster surfaces water-repellent, preventing the penetration of water and moisture. This water repellent is formulated and produced using nano-siloxane technology and does not change the color of the surface. By penetrating the plaster surface, it seals its capillaries, making it water-repellent. However, this nano water repellent is designed to resist minor moisture penetration and is not suitable for constant exposure to water. When applied to plaster sculptures, this product not only makes them water-repellent but also increases their durability and resistance. A special advantage of this product is that it prevents dust and dirt from settling on the treated surfaces and makes cleaning easier compared to untreated plaster surfaces. Additionally, it offers good resistance to destructive gases and chloride ions.

Application Method

• For Freshly Applied Plaster:

If the plaster surface is newly applied and you wish to waterproof it, the plaster must be completely dry. Then, using a spray gun or brush, apply one or two coats of the water repellent on the surface.

• For Old Plaster Surfaces:

The surface must be clean, free from any dust, dirt, and fully dry. After cleaning the surface, apply the plaster water repellent in two coats using a brush or spray gun.

Consumption Rate:

• One kilogram of the plaster water repellent is sufficient to cover 10 to 12 square meters with one coat.

Safety

• In case of contact with eyes, immediately rinse the affected eye with clean drinking water for 2 minutes.
• Wear protective goggles during application.
• Use a suitable mask and gloves when applying the product.
• This product is not classified as hazardous or toxic to the environment.

Storage

• Shelf life: One year in the original packaging.
• Proper storage conditions: Keep away from freezing temperatures, heat, and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
• Ideal storage temperature: Between 10°C and 30°C.
