The use of cement slates has long been common for covering roofs. These slates are made from cement mixtures and are weak against water seepage. If no solution is found to protect these roofs from moisture and rain, severe and extensive damage will occur. The Cement Slate Water Repellent is a unique, specialized, and powerful product formulated with nanotechnology that effectively makes cement slates water-repellent. After application, it penetrates the surface and strengthens the cement slates against water infiltration. This water repellent is ready to use and does not require any additional additives. It can be easily applied with a spray gun or brush. Surfaces treated with this product will remain protected from water penetration for many years. Another feature is that the surface becomes less prone to dirt and dust accumulation.

Application Method

Apply the water repellent in two coats using a brush or spray gun on the desired surface. Allow it to dry and set.

The surfaces must be free of any dirt, dust, and grease before application. If the surface is contaminated, it is recommended to clean it with high-pressure water (water jet) or sandblasting.

Consumption Rate

The consumption rate of Cement Slate Water Repellent depends on the surface porosity and water absorption. However, under normal conditions, one liter of the product covers 4 to 5 square meters with one coat.

Safety

• In case of eye contact, immediately rinse the affected eye with clean drinking water for 2 minutes.
• Wear suitable protective goggles during application.
• This product is not considered toxic or hazardous to the environment or humans.
• Use an appropriate mask and gloves during application.

Storage

• Shelf life: One year in the original packaging.
• Proper storage conditions: Keep away from freezing, excessive heat, and prolonged direct sunlight.
• Ideal storage temperature: Between 10°C and 30°C.
