Concrete Fast Harden
GS800
Instant Set Concrete Repair Mortar
Concrete Leak Sealing Mortar
Product Description:
Failure to produce high-quality and durable concrete may lead to the development of cracks or joints in the concrete. The appearance of cracks and joints in water structures or liquid storage tanks may result in the leakage of liquids or water under pressure from these locations. Often, draining water or liquids is either a costly or impossible task, and the best method is to seal the leaks in place. For this purpose, Concrete Fast Harden is an ideal solution. This product is a ready-mix mortar based on cement, which is used when a concrete structure suffers from severe leakage. It works by rapidly accelerating the hydration reaction and sets within less than 10 seconds, effectively stopping water leakage. It forms a powerful paste to seal high-pressure leaks immediately upon mixing with water. Concrete Fast Harden can be applied to various concrete and stone surfaces. Due to its thermal expansion coefficient matching that of concrete, it has the same lifespan as the structure. Moreover, using this product ensures excellent adhesion to a wide range of materials including concrete, stone, and brick.
In summary, this product is designed to prevent water infiltration under various conditions. It is a powder that, when mixed with water, can be directly applied to concrete, cement, and block surfaces, as well as at the point of water leakage. The resulting waterproof coating provides immediate sealing.
Mechanism of Action
Concrete Fast Harden is a single-component powder composed of cement, rapid-setting materials, and water-sealing additives. Due to the presence of fast-reacting chemical components, it enhances the hydration process, allowing the cement to complete its hydration almost immediately upon mixing with water. This leads to rapid and controlled setting, preserving early mechanical properties. The presence of special mineral components in Concrete Fast Harden enhances the behavior of cement when it contacts water, providing fast sealing against leaks and rapid water infiltration.
Properties and Effects
Concrete Fast Harden exhibits the following properties:
- Excellent adhesion to a variety of materials such as concrete, stone, and brick
- Accelerates setting time, allowing for quick utilization of the structure
- Chloride-free
- Long-lasting, stable waterproofing
- Does not contaminate drinking water when in contact
- Ensures long-term durability of the structure
- No cracking or shrinkage
- Does not cause steel corrosion
- Ready to use and easy to mix with water
Applications
Concrete Fast Harden is primarily used for:
- Preventing water leakage in reservoirs and tanks where draining is not possible
- Sealing pools, water pipelines, and channels
- Closing and sealing high-pressure leaks in non-expansion joints and cavities
- Waterproofing joints and water passages through concrete and stone sections
- Blocking leaks in fuel and chemical storage tanks
- Sealing any kind of water or liquid leaks in concrete structures
- Waterproofing concrete structures like tunnels, dams, concrete tanks, underground structures, and elevator pits

Consumption Rate
The standard consumption rate of Concrete Fast Harden is calculated based on the size of the hole or depth of the groove. Typically, about 6 kg of the product is used for one square meter at a thickness of 5 mm.
Instructions for Use
- Preparation:
- Ensure the surface to be treated is clean and free of contaminants such as oils, grease, and loose materials.
- Create a V-shaped groove on the surface where the mortar will be applied.
- Use approximately 250–300 grams of water per kilogram of Concrete Fast Harden powder to prepare the mortar.
- Apply the prepared mortar to the groove for 15 seconds, ensuring that the application starts from the edges towards the center.
- Application:
- After the mortar sets, level the surface to match the surrounding area.
- Always mix the powder into the water, not the reverse, as this can cause the mixture to set too quickly and be unusable.
- Working Conditions:
- The setting time of Concrete Fast Harden depends on the ambient temperature and the temperature of the water. Cooler temperatures delay setting, while warmer temperatures speed it up.
- If water pressure is high, a drainage pipe can be used, and the surrounding area should be sealed with the mortar.
- Additional Notes:
- If there is no existing water leakage, moisten the surface before applying the mortar, and keep the treated area moist for 15 minutes after application.
Safety Instructions
- This product is not classified as hazardous to health or the environment.
- If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.
- As Concrete Fast Harden is alkaline and contains cement, it is recommended to wear gloves, goggles, and appropriate workwear during use.
