Consumption

When compared to Teflon tape, one 50ml bottle of Accardeon Liquid Teflon can replace 70-100 Teflon tape rolls. The amount used depends on the thread size and diameter of the connection.

Application Method

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure that the surfaces to be sealed are free of grease, oil, and dirt. The area should be dry before application.
2. Application: Apply the Liquid Teflon using the nozzle on the bottle, rotating 360 degrees to cover 1-3 threads of the male and female connection. There is no need for special tools—simply hand-tighten the pieces.
3. Curing Time: After assembly, the components should remain at room temperature (22-24°C) for at least 24 hours before use. The curing time may vary depending on the size of the parts. Refer to the information on the bottle for exact timing.
4. Excess Removal: If there is excess Teflon around the connection, it can easily be cleaned with an absorbent cloth.

If disassembly is required, use manual tools like pliers. Disassembly should be done at room temperature, but if necessary, apply heat (up to 150°C) or pour boiling water on the joint before separating the parts. Any dried Teflon residue can be mechanically removed and cleaned with appropriate solvents like acetone.

Important: When reassembling locked connections, always use new material. Used material should not be reused for further connections.
