When applied between metal surfaces, this anaerobic gasket maker starts polymerization in the absence of oxygen, forming a durable polymer layer that is resistant to vibration and pressure, thus creating an effective seal. It is a single-component product primarily used for leak prevention. This gasket maker is ideal for both metallic and non-metallic connections and exhibits remarkable stability in contact with oxygen.

Similar to other liquid Teflon products, this anaerobic gasket maker is cost-effective compared to traditional Teflon tape. It offers high resistance to vibrations and is one of the best sealing solutions available. The product is specifically formulated for sealing and stabilizing metallic, plastic, polyethylene, and metal-coated components. It does not drip and maintains optimal viscosity.

Consumption Rate

The amount of Proofab Anaerobic Gasket Maker required depends on the size of the thread and connection area.

Usage Instructions

1. Clean the surface of the parts to remove any oil, grease, or dirt before application.
2. Apply the gasket maker using the nozzle on the bottle in a 360-degree rotation over the male and female threads.
3. Assemble the parts manually without the need for tools and tighten until it stops.
4. Allow the assembled parts to cure for at least 24 hours at temperatures between 22°C to 24°C before use. The curing time may vary depending on the size of the connections. Refer to the instructions on the bottle for precise timing.
5. If excess gasket maker is observed, clean it with an absorbent cloth to prevent contamination.
