PROOFAB 891 Clear Plus Silicone Sealant is formulated and produced based on alkoxy acid technology, designed for bonding and sealing a wide variety of surfaces. It is a highly adhesive sealant, perfect for sealing materials such as glass, tiles, ceramics, aluminum, and more. This product is also commonly known in the market as aquarium sealant.

PROOFAB 891 provides a strong, durable bond, capable of eliminating microorganisms on the applied surface using nano antibacterial technology. This product is specifically designed for glass aquarium construction, but it also has broad applications such as automotive mirror bonding, window and door sealing, and more. It is easy to apply and does not require any special skills or expertise.

This sealant offers exceptional durability in various weather conditions and freeze-thaw cycles. After curing, it maintains its elasticity and flexibility for the long term. Since it is based on alkoxy acid, it has a vinegar-like odor during application, which dissipates as it dries.

Application Method

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the application surfaces are clean, dry, and free from any grease, dust, or contaminants.
2. Masking: Use masking tape around the application area to prevent the sealant from spreading onto unnecessary spaces.
3. Application: Insert the sealant cartridge into a caulking gun, cut the nozzle to the required width, and apply the sealant.
4. Finishing: Smooth the applied sealant with a spatula and allow it to cure.
5. Curing Time: PROOFAB 891 requires a minimum of 8 hours to dry, and depending on weather conditions and layer thickness, full curing may take up to 24 hours.
6. Cleaning: Once cured, the sealant can be easily cleaned.
