PROOFAB Gray Siliconized Sealant 851 is an acrylic resin-based siliconized sealant with excellent adhesion and elasticity. Also known as mastic, it is widely used for sealing UPVC and aluminum double-glazed windows and doors, preventing water, moisture, and dust infiltration. This product does not contaminate drinking water.

Its elasticity ensures durability against structural movements and vibrations in doors and windows, making it a preferred choice for sealing applications. After curing, PROOFAB Gray Siliconized Sealant 851 retains its flexibility and elasticity. Consumption Rate

The amount of PROOFAB Gray Siliconized Sealant required depends on the application area and the volume needed for coverage.

Application Method

1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, or other contaminants.
2. For a neat finish, apply masking tape around the targeted sealing area.
3. Insert the silicone sealant cartridge into a suitable sealant gun.
4. Cut the nozzle at the required width based on the application size and apply the sealant.
5. Smooth the applied sealant with a putty knife or spatula.
6. Allow at least 12 hours for initial drying. Depending on weather conditions and thickness, full curing may take up to 48 hours.
