PROOFAB Gray Siliconized Sealant 851 is an acrylic resin-based siliconized sealant offering excellent adhesion and elasticity. Also referred to as mastic, this sealant is widely utilized for sealing UPVC and aluminum double-glazed windows and doors, effectively preventing the infiltration of water, moisture, and dust. Additionally, it does not pose any contamination risk to potable water.

Consumption Rate

Application Method
- Surface Preparation: Ensure that the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, and contaminants before application.
- Masking: Apply masking tape around the sealing area to achieve a clean finish.
- Cartridge Preparation: Insert the sealant cartridge into a suitable sealant gun.
- Nozzle Cutting: Cut the nozzle tip at the required width, depending on the application.
- Sealant Application: Apply the sealant along the joint or surface in a continuous, even bead.
- Tooling: Smooth the applied sealant using a putty knife or spatula for a uniform finish.
- Curing Time:
- Initial drying: Minimum 12 hours
- Full curing: Up to 48 hours, depending on ambient temperature, humidity, and thickness.
