PROOFAB Chemical Anchoring Adhesive
P131 – Two-Component Rebar Anchor Adhesive
Product Description
The PROOFAB P131 Rebar Anchor Adhesive is a highly powerful two-component adhesive formulated with high-quality general polyester resins, designed and offered for a wide range of construction industry applications. This adhesive is extensively used in semi-heavy and medium-weight projects for both horizontal and vertical applications. Thanks to its thixotropic properties, it can even be used in vertical applications, household uses, and non-construction purposes.
This two-component adhesive consists of one part hardener and the other part resin, which enhances the durability and strength of concrete. It is widely used in reinforcement and rebar anchoring during concrete pouring in construction, significantly improving the structural resistance and load-bearing capacity of the structure. Moreover, this product is known for its high mechanical strength.

- Suitable for filling gaps between walls and building facades
Consumption Rate
Start applying the adhesive from the deepest part of the hole. If you begin in the middle, trapped air could leave voids. If the nozzle or mixer does not reach the bottom of the hole, use a pipe or hose. Ensure that 70% of the hole is filled with rebar anchor adhesive. Make sure the concrete in the hole is free from cracks and damage.
After placing the rebar, avoid shifting it and keep it in place without applying pressure until the adhesive hardens.
Application Method
- Drill the hole using appropriate tools.
- Clean the drilled hole thoroughly, using a vacuum cleaner or brush to remove any dust and debris. This is crucial since concrete dust or debris can affect the adhesive’s performance.
- Remove any grease or oils from the surface.
- Inject the rebar anchor adhesive into the hole, filling about two-thirds of the hole’s volume.
- Clean the excess adhesive from the hole opening using a spatula or other tools. Allow it to cure completely.
