Proofab Color Grout
Waterproofing – Repair & Sealant
N.GROUT.N
Proofab Color Grout is a highly strong and specialized two-component product. One component consists of polymer-modified cement grout powder, and the other is a colored acrylic resin reinforced with nanotechnology. This grout is highly resistant and durable against hydraulic pressures. It is an excellent choice for sealing joints, caulking, and waterproofing floors in bathrooms, kitchens, and more. The grout exhibits high resistance to acids and household cleaners, and is highly resistant to microbial and fungal growth on surfaces. The color stability of the grout is enhanced by the liquid component, ensuring better longevity of the color after application. Moreover, the use of organic pigments for coloring the hardener provides a significantly higher quality compared to similar products.
In general, grout is an essential material for tiling and sealing ceramic joints. Beton Plast Chemical Company manufactures and offers this two-component grout. As mentioned, due to the resin component used, this grout offers excellent resistance and durability.
This product is designed to fill gaps between tiles and ceramics, improving the strength and appearance of the grouting, and preventing water and contaminants from seeping beneath the tiles. It enhances the overall appearance and performance of the tiled space.
Special Advantages of Proofab Two-Component Color Grout
This product offers several advantages over conventional grout materials. Below are some of its key benefits:
- Advantages of Proofab Color Grout Over Powdered Grout:
- Powdered color grouts are typically colored with inorganic pigments like ochre and ground brick powder, which, depending on the type of cement and fillers, do not produce a uniform color. However, ProFab’s two-component grout uses organic pigments in the liquid component, resulting in a more consistent and vibrant color in the grout.
- In contrast to powdered grouts, which change color over time due to the use of inorganic pigments, the organic pigments in ProFab’s grout ensure long-lasting color stability.
- Powdered grout contains water as a second component, which evaporates and leaves a void in the joint, but this issue is addressed by the acrylic resin-based nano adhesive in ProFab’s grout.
- The bonding of grout particles in ProFab’s grout is significantly stronger, offering greater resistance to acids and household cleaners than powdered grout.
- Advantages of Proofab Two-Component Grout Over Traditional Grouting:
- Coloring traditional grout is either impossible or very difficult, but ProFab’s grout is designed for color consistency and superior performance.
- Traditional grouting has a high water content, which evaporates, leaving a recessed joint. However, ProFab’s grout remains even and level with the tiles after drying.
- Traditional grouting is easily washed away with water, but ProFab’s two-component grout, with its acrylic resin and micronized fillers, is at least 5 times more durable and resistant to water, cleaners, and household acids.
- The durability and longevity of Proofab grout are significantly greater than traditional grout, offering a much longer lifespan.

Application Instructions for Proofab Two-Component Grout
The joints must be clean and free from any contaminants, grease, or dust. If not, use a sharp tool to clear the joints, then wash them with water and a brush before drying completely. Pour the liquid component into a container and slowly add the powder component, mixing until a uniform, homogeneous mixture is achieved. The powder-to-liquid ratio is 1:2 and should be mixed in that exact proportion. For smaller areas, measure the powder-to-liquid ratio precisely using a scale before mixing.
Important: Do not add any additional substances such as water, cement, or fillers, as it will compromise the grout’s performance.
Apply the grout to the joints and use a trowel to ensure full penetration into the joints. For porous tiles, cover the tile edges with masking tape before grouting, which will allow easy removal of the tape and minimize cleaning after application.
Depending on weather conditions, the surface can be used 24 to 48 hours after application.
Mechanism of Action of Proofab Two-Component Grout
Each 1.5 kg can of Proofab Two-Component Nano Grout contains 500 grams of nano adhesive and 1 kg of high-quality grout powder. The nano adhesive replaces water in the mixture and enhances the bonding of particles, improving adhesion to tiles and ceramics. The addition of acrylic resin-based binders increases the durability and longevity of the grout.
