Instructions for Use
How to use Ebtekar Tile Adhesive Powder?
- First, ensure the surface is clean and free from dirt, loose particles, and grease.
- If necessary, use water jetting or sandblasting to clean the surface.
- If the surface is freshly cemented, wait at least 7 days for it to cure before applying the adhesive.
- Mixing: For each 20 kg bag of powder, you will need 5-6 liters of water.
- Use a mechanical mixer (drill and paddle) to blend water and adhesive powder until a smooth and uniform paste is formed.
- Always add powder to water, not the reverse, to ensure even consistency.
- Apply the adhesive mixture with a notched trowel onto the surface.
- Place and secure the tiles onto the prepared surface.
- Optionally, apply some adhesive to the back of the tiles for extra adhesion.
- Note that the mixed paste should be used within 40 minutes after preparation, and tiles should be installed within 20 minutes after application.
