Dubell Chemical Rebar Adhesive Anchor
Description
Dubell Chemical Rebar Adhesive Anchor, also known as rebar grouting adhesive, is a two-component anchoring system formulated with high-quality general-purpose polyester resin. It is specifically designed and manufactured for a wide range of construction applications. Dubell rebar anchoring adhesive is widely used in medium to semi-heavy projects in both horizontal and vertical applications. Its thixotropic properties make it suitable even for household and non-structural applications.
Rebar anchoring adhesive is extensively used in the construction industry. As mentioned earlier, this type of adhesive consists of two components: one containing a hardener and the other containing resin, which enhances the durability and strength of concrete. This adhesive is used for embedding rebars into concrete structures, improving structural integrity and load-bearing capacity. Additionally, it offers high mechanical strength.
Properties and Effects
- Fast setting and complete curing
- High mechanical strength
- Saves time during application
- Usable in low temperatures
- Completely fills holes, leaving no gaps in the structure
- No shrinkage over time
- Excellent adhesion properties
- Suitable for anchoring rebars and bolts in both vertical and horizontal concrete surfaces
Applications
- Ideal for bonding concrete, marble, stone, etc.
- Suitable for installing kitchen and bathroom cabinets
- Effective for anchoring brackets and hollow brick walls
- Used for securing industrial machinery, satellite dishes, and TV systems
- Applicable for mounting decorative panels on walls and ceilings
- Suitable for installing radiators and plumbing systems
- Usable for mounting lighting fixtures
- Ideal for installing railings, shelves, or other components onto main structures
- Useful for connecting concrete sections together
- Perfect for filling gaps between walls and building facades
Consumption Instructions
When applying the rebar adhesive, always start from the deepest point of the drilled hole. Pouring adhesive from the middle may trap air, leaving voids in the hole. If the applicator nozzle cannot reach the hole’s bottom, use a tube or hose. The hole should be filled up to 70% with adhesive. Ensure the concrete is free from cracks or damage before drilling.
After inserting the rebar, avoid excessive movement and hold it in place without pressure until the adhesive sets.
Application Method
- Drill the required hole using appropriate tools.
- Thoroughly clean the drilled hole, removing dust and debris using a vacuum or wire brush, as remaining concrete dust can affect adhesion.
- Remove any grease, oil, or loose particles from the hole.
- Inject the adhesive into the hole, filling it up to two-thirds of its depth.
- Remove any excess material from the hole opening using a spatula or similar tool, and allow it to cure completely.
