Description
Proofab High-Strength Liquid Threadlocker is an advanced anaerobic adhesive designed to replace traditional PTFE tape for high-pressure applications. This thixotropic anaerobic thread sealant is specifically formulated to lock and seal threaded metal connections, preventing loosening due to vibration and extreme pressure.
This high-performance threadlocker is ideal for gas pipelines, pump fittings, and other high-pressure connections where a secure, leak-proof seal is essential. It is classified as an industrial-grade adhesive that cures in the absence of oxygen, forming a durable and permanent bond between metal threads.
Once applied, the liquid threadlocker ensures maximum locking strength and is highly resistant to vibrations, thermal expansion, and pressure variations. Excess sealant can be wiped off with an absorbent cloth immediately after application.

Application Instructions
- Surface Preparation: Clean the male and female threads with an absorbent cloth to remove dust, oil, and contaminants.
- Application: Apply the threadlocker evenly around the first three threads of the male and female connectors in a 360-degree motion.
- Assembly: Tighten the fittings securely and allow the sealant to cure for 24 hours at a temperature of 22-24°C.
- Excess Sealant Removal: Wipe off any excess adhesive using an absorbent cloth before curing.
Disassembly & Reuse
- Hand tools cannot loosen the bonded joint once fully cured.
- To disassemble, apply localized heat up to 250°C and loosen the connection while it is still warm.
- Remove dried adhesive mechanically and clean the surface with acetone before reassembly.
- Fresh sealant must be applied for reassembly, as the used adhesive cannot be reused.
