Three-component epoxy grout for industrial machinery stabilization<\/p>\n

This epoxy-based grout is designed for securing heavy machinery in industrial environments. Ordinary cement-based grouts are insufficient for installing and stabilizing large, heavy engineering equipment. In such cases, parameters like compressive, bending, and tensile strengths become crucial, as these structures exert significant forces on their supports, both in compression, tension, and bending. This type of grout is shrinkage-free and adheres very well to concrete. This is particularly important when stabilizing equipment that operates with high dynamic vibrations (e.g., impact presses, guillotines, etc.), where ordinary grouts cannot withstand such forces. Therefore, epoxy grout is required for such applications. It is a non-flowing, three-component grout suitable for both horizontal and vertical surfaces, including overhead applications, and is commonly used for stabilizing heavy industrial machinery. Epoxy grout is also resistant to acids and chemicals. Apart from its high mechanical strength, it provides excellent chemical resistance against materials such as oil, grease, salts, acids, alkalis, and other corrosive substances. The product is easy to apply and has a long service life.<\/p>\n

In general, this product is a filling and stabilizing material, consisting of epoxy resin and hardener (activator), offering unique physical and chemical properties for construction and industrial projects requiring high resistance to pressure, chemicals, and heat. These properties make it ideal for harsh conditions.<\/p>\n

Mechanism of Epoxy Grout<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Epoxy technology is based on a thermoset polymer, which is created by combining two components: epoxy resin and hardener (activator). Epoxy resin consists of short-chain polymers with epoxy groups at the ends. When mixed with hardener, a chemical reaction occurs, resulting in polymerization and curing. The reaction between epoxy resin, hardener, and cement matrix provides fast curing and high early-strength development. Additionally, because there is no water or solvents in the components, no shrinkage occurs during or after curing.<\/p>\n

          Consumption Rate<\/strong><\/h3>\n

          The consumption rate for epoxy grout can be calculated based on the volume of the section to be grouted and the specific gravity of the grout.
          \nFor rebar embedding, subtract the volume occupied by the rebar from the volume of the drilled hole to determine the grouting volume, then multiply by the specific gravity to estimate the required amount.<\/p>\n

          Application Method<\/strong><\/h3>\n

          All surfaces for epoxy grout application must be free of contaminants, grease, and paint.
          \nMetal surfaces should be degreased.
          \nAny loose spots on the surface should be mechanically removed.
          \nThe substrate should be dry and free of moisture (concrete moisture should be below 6%).
          \nEnsure the concrete has reached a 28-day curing time before applying epoxy grout.<\/p>\n

          Important Notes<\/strong><\/h3>\n
            \n
          • Surface preparation should not be done below 5\u00b0C or above 3\u00b0C at dew point.<\/li>\n
          • In outdoor areas, surface preparation should not be done outside daylight hours.<\/li>\n
          • Preparation should not be done in conditions with more than 75% relative humidity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Application Procedure<\/strong><\/h3>\n

            1. Mix the liquid components (resin and hardener) for 1 minute using an electric mixer.<\/li>\n
            2. Gradually add the powder component to the liquid mixture while mixing to create a homogeneous mix.<\/li>\n
            3. Pour the grout continuously from one side, increasing the pouring height for large areas to ensure better penetration.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Important Notes on Application<\/strong><\/h3>\n
                \n
              • Apply epoxy grout within 15 minutes of mixing.<\/li>\n
              • Only mix enough grout for immediate use.<\/li>\n
              • In hot weather, ensure components are between 20\u00b0C to 25\u00b0C before mixing.<\/li>\n
              • Always mix components in the correct proportions (according to the packaging).<\/li>\n
              • Never use solvents or other additives to thin the grout.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
