Cement Block and Hebel Adhesive
Ready-to-use Mortar for Bonding Various Cement Blocks Including Lightweight and Heavy Blocks
What is Cement Block and Hebel Adhesive?
This product is suitable for bonding AAC blocks, lightweight and heavy cement blocks, clay blocks, bricks, etc. The block adhesive, based on cement, mineral powders, powdered resins, and special additives, is formulated to enhance the bonding strength of aerated concrete (AAC) blocks, improve wall leveling, increase work speed, reduce the weight of the structure, and minimize the mortar required for block laying by up to 75%. It also retains moisture in the mortar, reduces the mortar thickness, increases structure density, offers easy application, and lowers water consumption.
This product, also known as Hebel adhesive or construction adhesive, is a heavy-duty adhesive formulated for bonding materials commonly used in construction such as stone, brick, or concrete blocks. Remarkably versatile, it can be used for various tasks including quick repairs, patching surfaces, or reattaching stones or bricks.
Properties & Effects
- Prevents temperature loss from sand-cement mortar
- Increases installation speed
- Offers significantly higher adhesion strength compared to regular mortars
- Suitable for bonding with minimal thickness
- Ready-to-use mortar without the need for any additional additives
Applications
- Suitable for construction block laying
- Ideal for bonding Hebel and lightweight blocks
- Suitable for aerated blocks
- Useful for bonding cement components together
Consumption Rate
The amount of block adhesive used depends on the area to be covered and the thickness of the Hebel blocks. On average, for each square meter, 1.5 to 4 kg of block adhesive powder is required. However, this amount may vary depending on the type of structure, block types, and local weather conditions.
Application Method for Cement Block Adhesive
How to use Cement Block Adhesive?
- Mix one 20 kg bag of block adhesive with 5 to 6 liters of water using an electric mixer until fully combined.
- Gradually add the powder to the water and mix until a smooth, uniform consistency is achieved.
- Allow the mortar to rest for 5 minutes, then stir again before use.
- Using a trowel, apply the adhesive to the surface and install the blocks within 20 minutes.
