Plastic Ribbed Pipe (PVC Ribbed Pipe)

The plastic ribbed pipe, made of UPVC material, is widely used as an intermediate component between the waterproof mid-bolt and the dual-cone sleeve in concrete formwork. In cases where sealing the area through which the bolt passes in the concrete is not critical, the ribbed pipe can also serve as a simple sleeve for bolt passage.

This plastic pipe is manufactured with a diameter of 25 mm and a wall thickness of 1.8 mm, although the wall thickness can be customized upon request. The pipe is ribbed using a thermal and pressure machine, which increases its grip on the concrete, providing better engagement during use.

Applications of Plastic Ribbed Pipe

1. Intermediate Component for Waterproof Mid-Bolt: The ribbed plastic pipe can be used as an intermediary between the waterproof mid-bolt and the dual-cone sleeve.
2. Sleeve for Bolt Passage: In cases where the sealing of the bolt passage is not of high importance, the ribbed plastic pipe can be used as a simple sleeve to allow the bolt to pass through the formwork.
3. Intermediate Sleeve for Dual-Coned Sleeve: The ribbed pipe can also serve as an intermediary sleeve between the dual-cone and the waterproof mid-bolt.

Consumption of Plastic Ribbed Pipe

• As an Intermediate Component for Waterproof Mid-Bolt: To use the ribbed pipe as an intermediary for a waterproof mid-bolt, subtract 16 cm from the wall thickness to determine the required length of the ribbed pipe.
• As an Intermediate Sleeve for Dual-Coned Sleeve: For this application, subtract 2 cm from the wall thickness to determine the required length of the ribbed pipe.
• As a Sleeve for Bolt Passage: For bolt passage, the ribbed pipe must be cut to the width of the wall.

• Using the ribbed plastic pipe as a sleeve for bolt passage ensures that bolts remain intact, providing more precision, efficiency, and extending the lifespan of the bolts for use in future projects.
